According to a newly released Entertainment Weekly article, comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director, Louis C.K. has announced that he has shot a film that will premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. If you are a film buff who is thrown off by this news, don’t be alarmed. C.K. put this whole film together without anyone knowing, claiming the film was shot “entirely in secret.”
The film bears the title I Love You, Daddy and the article states the film is about a a successful writer and producer, which isn’t too far from Louis C.K.’s life at all. The film stars C.K., Chloe Grace Moretz, John Malkovich, Helen Hunt, Rose Byrne, and Pamela Aldon.
It was shot in 35mm and in black and white.
The Toronto International Film Festival takes place between September 7, 2017 – September 17, 2017
